Our Guide to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic RPG

Welcome to STAR WARS : Knights of the Old Republic RPG. The following is the guide to our site, which we strongly recommend everyone reads. If anything is unclear or if there's something that isn't covered that you may have a question about, please do not hesitate to either send a PM to one of the staff members or post the question in the suggestions and questions section, which is guest friendly.

Registering an Account

If you've read the rules and plot and you decide to join, you are more than welcome to register an account. We ask that the first account you register is your OOC/Member's account which will be used to post all OOC content. This account name can be just about anything, though we ask that you keep it clean. For all character account, we ask that you use one account per character, using the First & Last name of you characters with no titles. If you would like to change either your OOC or character account name you can do so under 'My Controls,' and then please contact a member of the administration through link, and a member of the staff will validate the account changes for you.

Application Process

After your application is posted and is finished, and you are waiting for it to be critiqued/approved, there are still three more steps for you to go through before we will accept your character. The first of these steps is to make a and then post in the thread. The face claims are very helpful tools that help the staff and members keep track of all the current face claims being used, and which ones are available to be used. The Who's Who thread will help the staff keep track of the number of Members on the board, and which characters are played by each of the members.

After you have posted in both threads, post letting the staff know that your application is ready, and they will begin the approval process. Please be patient with the staff, and give them time to work. The staff has up to one week from the day your application is posted/finished and your face-claims are posted to approve your application. Please keep this in mind and do not bug the staff to approve your application(s). If more than a week has passed since your application has been posted and you still do not have an approval, you may send a PM to Sean (Revanchrist), Diana (Trebaruna), Dallas (Dallas), or to the leader of the faction that the character will be under, to remind them.

Activity Expectations

Due to this being a relatively fast paced role play, we ask that our members be as active as possible. However, we do realize that things can come up in real life, and that real life always come before role play, so we also ask that you please let us know when you will not be able to post, whether it's for a short or long period of time, by post a Leave of Absence in the

We will have random activity checks, once every month or so, in which we will ask that all active members respond to an activity check by a certain date. If you do not respond to one activity check and have not posted an absence notice, your character(s) and account will be considered inactive, and moved/marked as inactive. If after two activity checks and you still do not respond, you will be PM'd by an admin with a warning that your character(s) and account(s) are close to deletion. After the third activity check, and there has been no responses [without an absence notice), your account(s) will be deleted and your character(s) will be archived.

When KOTOR-RPG Takes Place[

Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic takes place during the Old Republic Era, nearly 4000 years before the events of A New Hope (Star Wars:Episode I). We are based 2 years after the events of the first Knights of the Old Republic Games, with a lightside ending to Kotor 1.

You won't be required to have read any of the Star Wars books, though it will definitely be a plus. As long as you've watched the movies, have a general idea of what's going on, and are willing to possibly do some reading, you'll fit right in. Even if you aren't knowledgeable of the Star Wars Genre, and would like to try something new, we welcome you with open arms, and will gladly help answer any questions that you might have.

Because of when this role play is taking place, we are also accepting both canon characters, as well as Original Characters.

If you have any questions regarding the era, the site, or star wars in general, please do not hesitate to contact any of the staff members.
